Medicare Health Insurance

Medicare is a governmental administered health insurance program. Medicare was first instituted in 1965 and covers people who are either over the age of 65, or who meet other special eligibility requirements. Medicare is partially financed by payroll taxes of employees and also those of the self-employed. Those eligible for Medicare must still pay some premiums, deductible and co-pays.
