COBRA

COBRA is the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985. COBRA is mandated by federal legislation and lets you continue your health insurance coverage for up to eighteen months if you lose coverage. COBRA is only mandated for those companies with twenty or more employees.
